We were recently recognized for our innovative work in a new video that was recently shared on the Department of Energy’s Facebook page. The video highlights our partnership with Oakridge National Laboratory in developing the rapid infrared aluminum forging process.
Not only is rapid IR aluminum hot forging more efficient, but it allows us to forge aluminum parts at a much faster rate. Before this innovation, the slower process of heating aluminum materials to a forgeable temperature made aluminum components less durable and less uniform across large batches.
The DOE has taken note of our ability to improve the forging process and revitalize our business, as a U.S. manufacturing source.
